How to Encourage People to get the Vaccine

Over the last week, Matt Hancock the Secretary of State for Health, has stated that care staff could be legally required to take the COVID vaccine under new plans that the government are considering.

Professor Martin Green OBE, CEO of Care England, said, ‘It is currently for individual care providers to make the decision about whether vaccines should be mandatory or not, but the role of Government must be to make it as easy as possible for everybody in the care sector to have access to a vaccine.’

Whilst compulsory vaccination is unusual, it is not unprecedented. So, how do you encourage people to get the vaccine? Information and access to the vaccine are the key to persuading our dedicated teams to protect themselves against this virus and so fulfil their roles as carers to protect those they care for.

Information:
The NHS website is a great source of information to share with your employees. It tells you who is eligible, how to get the vaccine, how safe it is, how effective it is, and much more.
